COVID-19 Travel Information

UPDATED POLICIES AS OF 07/01/2022

GUESTS ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED TO SEND PROOF OF VACCINATION BEFORE ARRIVAL.  Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our vaccination policies.

We welcome you back! As of this moment, we are still keeping up with current CDC guidelines and the changes that may be presented as the spread of COVID-19 and its variants change. We understand that with these concerns you might choose to stay at home during this time. We have an updated flexible cancellation policy here.

As of current public health orders masks are no longer required in shared indoor spaces. Please see https://cv.nmhealth.org for state-related COVID updates. The state will still continue to follow CDC guidelines with respect to face coverings.  Regardless of state guidance, businesses, workplaces and tribes/pueblos may continue to require face masks for employees, customers, and visitors regardless of vaccination status.

We are no longer requiring guests to wear a mask when around other guests or employees in the office and breakfast areas.

We are fully open for Business! Healthy & Clean (as Always)

Our hearts go out to those who’ve been impacted by the coronavirus. We want you to know that we are closely monitoring the evolving situation in Taos and Northern New Mexico and we will continue to follow the advice and direction of the CDC and the New Mexico Health Department for our occupancy and masking guidelines.

Built-in Social Distancing

Contact-less check in is still available for those who prefer to continue social-distancing. Please feel free to call us ahead of your reservation at
575.751.0947 if you have concerns.

Our historic hacienda is centered on 3 acres of rural pastureland and naturally provides for social distancing. All of our eight guest rooms and casitas have private entrances from the garden or portal and do not share indoor hallways or entrance areas with other rooms. Our three acres of courtyards and naturally landscaped grounds provide ample area to rejuvenate and relax.

Half of our rooms have fully stocked Kitchens or Kitchenettes for those who prefer to eat-in or prepare your own meals.  Breakfast in Bed has always been a no-charge option for guests. If you prefer sleeping in or if you feel uncomfortable eating in our common breakfast area, just ask for this option. If you choose to stay in, we are also offering add-ons once again for your convenience, such as cheese and fruit trays with complimentary wine or beer, romance specials, and birthday packages. Massages are also being offered, with ample prior notice (please note that our massage therapists may have different masking requirements than the inn’s or the state’s COVID policies).

The safety, health, and well-being of our guests and staff as we move forward are paramount for us and we have focused our attention on enhancing routine cleaning and sanitizing. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and have taken an extra level of sanitary precautions so you can feel at ease during your stay. The enhanced environmental cleaning practices below are helping us continue to provide a safe and clean environment for all.

ENHANCED ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANING

Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place and our employees are especially focused on sanitizing. This includes routinely cleaning all frequently touched surfaces throughout the property and sanitizing commonly used surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, tables, remote controls, lamp switches, etc. There is also hand sanitizer in our living room, food service areas, and at check-in.

Prior to guest arrival, we thoroughly clean and sanitize the room, including sanitizing frequent touch areas such as doorknobs, handles, remote controls, hangers, lamp switches, etc. As usual, all linens are washed and replaced after each guest visit. We sincerely appreciate the trust you place in us when you travel and we thank-you for your understanding as our policies adjust to the changing environment.

We promise to closely follow the COVID-19 developments, along with the CDC’s recommendations, and will adjust our policies again as needed if the need is presented in the near or late future.

Please feel free to call 575.751.0947 or email mail@adobepines.com if you have any questions or concerns as we continue to monitor the advice and direction of the CDC and the New Mexico Health Department. We sincerely appreciate the trust you place in us when you travel, and encourage guests to stay informed about CDC reported cases in our state.
