How far is the Bed and Breakfast from the Historical District of Taos?
The Adobe and Pines Inn Bed and Breakfast is located within walking distance of the Historic Ranchos de Taos Plaza which is home to the National Historic Site and most photographed church in the world, San Francisco de Asis Church. The Taos Plaza and Historical District is 4 miles North.
How far is it to ski?
There are four ski areas within a short drive. Sipapu, a family friendly ski resort, is 21 miles away via NM 518. Angel Fire Ski Resort is 26 miles via US-64E. Taos Ski Valley is 23 miles North on State Road 150 and Red River Ski Area is 40 miles on NM-522 North and the NM-38 East.

The Historical Ranchos de Taos Plaza which is home to the Landmark Site and most photographed church in the world, San Francisco de Asis Church is within walking distance. The Plaza is home to a small collection of shops to include the Plaza Gallery, Two Graces Gallery and Chimayo Trading. For dining options there is the Old Martinas Hall Ranchos Plaza Grill, and the Trading Post Cafe. Taos Country Club and Golf Course is only 3.8 miles South.
1 mile from the start of the High Road 518 take the Scenic Drive / Artist Tour.
Are there any Winter Activities nearby?
There is a sledding hill called US Hill that is a lot of fun for the entire family located 13 miles via NM 518. The Taos Youth and Family Center which has Ice Skating, Swimming Pool and Arcade Games is just 3 miles away. Beside the center is a new Bowling Alley called Gutters. Are you Pet Friendly?
Yes we are! Please contact us regarding a potential dog or cat stay. We welcome our pet guests, but need to speak with you about our policy first regarding pets left unattended in their room.
We do have a $25 fee per pet stay.
Can you Hike nearby?
4 mile drive to the Taos Valley Overlook within the Orilla Verde Recreation Area which has a number of spectacular hikes at the edge of the Rio Pueblo Gorge or down to the Taos Junction Bridge – all part of the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument.
Do you offer Spa Services?
We offer spa services through massage therapist Terri Picard, 575.770.7914. She and her associates offer a variety of Spa services on premises including hot rock massages. Simultaneous couple massages can be accommodated in most rooms. In addition, Solange Leboucher offers energy work based in Polarity Therapy. We advise calling us at least 3 days ahead of your arrival to assure preferred service times and dates.
What time is Breakfast?
Our hearty 2 and 3 course breakfasts alternate between sweet and savory and are served somewhere between 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. each morning, based on our guests needs and number of guests. Should anyone in your party have dietary restrictions, please let us know when you book so they may be accommodated. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are always available with prior notice.
With a day’s prior notice, an early breakfast can also be served for those wishing to get to activities or flights early, or a breakfast to-go can be prepared the night before. Breakfast –in- bed is also available – just ask us! Please let us know the day before if you are not going to be with us for breakfast the next day.
What time is Check In?
Check in Time is 3 to 5 pm. For later check-in we will leave a note for you on the lobby door with a map and directions to your room. Should you need the innkeepers there is a red phone in the lobby. Check out is 11 a.m.
Are Children Welcome?
Children are always welcome at Adobe & Pines Inn and are free for ages 3 and under! Let us know if you need a play-and-go crib or a kids chair for breakfast. The Inn is stocked with an abundance of games !
What if there are more than two people in a room?
Our Rates are based on Double Occupancy. Extra guests can be accommodated in Puerta Cobre, Puerta Roja and Puerta Blanca at a rate of $25 each per night.
