Inviting and warm, the suite's copper interior with turquoise accents beckons you to relax and soak up the unique blend of traditional Southwest design and luxurious comforts. The gas fireplaces, designed for year-round use, are perfect for frosty winter dawns or cool summer twilight. The fireplace in the suite's main room can be enjoyed from the sitting area or the queen size bed, which calls forth Taos-inspired dreams with its spectacular, one-of-a-kind handcrafted copper headboard and bedside tables. The sitting area will invite you to linger with its comfortable leather couch, wet bar/kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee/tea service, TV with DVD player, and Red Willow twig window shutters that create subtle shadows in the long sun-filled afternoons. Stepping into the bathroom of Puerta Cobre with its hand made copper-colored Mexican tile is like being inside one of Taos Pueblo's golden-flecked pots. To totally enchant, a candelabra is at eye-level when you're relaxing in the over-sized jetted tub. Other bath amenities include spacious double sinks, a walk-in tiled shower and luxurious bathrobes and slippers. Candles, soft wall lighting, and aromatherapy bath complete the mood. A few steps away from your private portal is a fenced in private two-person Hot Springs hot tub. Puerta Cobre is beautiful in its harmony, magical in its possibilities.
